Win-GBT is a treatment planning system designed to perform LDR intracavitary brachytherapy.

AP/LAT films are used to input source locations. The films must be digitalized with a scanner with a transparency adapter.

Images are interactively registered, the user must provide the lenght of a given landmark and establish the longitudinal axis relationship between both.

Win-GBT uses a source database to store source data. Data used for dose calculation can be defined by the user.

Source location is done directly on AP/LAT images.

The system calculates and displays dose distribution in AP, LAT and axial planes. Dose or dose rate can be shown, The dose is calculated in any point as well as in A/B points. Implant time needed for a given dose is also calculated.

Isodose curves can be printed and source contribution for point dose is also given.
